The Deadline Radar

Privacy policy

Your data, in plain words

Last updated 22 October 2026

In short

The Deadline Radar sends you alerts about the players in your Fantasy Premier League team. To do that we need your public FPL team ID and, if you allow it, a token to send notifications to your phone. That's all.

  • We never ask for your FPL password, email address, phone number, location or contacts.
  • We don't show ads, we don't track you across other apps, and we never sell your data.
  • You can delete your account and everything we hold about you in the app, in Settings, at any time.

The Deadline Radar is not affiliated with the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League.

What we collect and why

We only keep what the alerts need. Everything is deleted when you delete your account.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data or share it for advertising. A few services help us run the app, and only get what their job needs:

ServiceWhat it getsWhy
Expo (650 Industries, USA)Your push token and the text of each alertDelivers notifications to your phone
Apple (iPhone) or Google (Android)Your push token and the text of each alert, from ExpoTheir notification services put the alert on your phone
Our own server, in the NetherlandsAll the data above, stored on our serverRuns the app's server

The app reads public data from Fantasy Premier League using your team ID; FPL doesn't learn anything about you from this. Some of these services are outside the EU. Where that's the case, they're covered by the EU's approved safeguards for data transfers (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). We'd only share data with anyone else if the law requires it.

Your rights

We process your data to provide the service you signed up for (the legal basis is the contract between us: no data, no alerts). Under the GDPR you can:

  • See your data: everything we hold is on the app's screens (your team, watchlist, alert choices and alert history). For a full copy, email us.
  • Correct it: change your watchlist and alert choices in the app; switch to a different FPL team in Settings.
  • Delete it: Settings → Delete my account removes your account and alert history straight away. Deleting the app alone stops notifications but keeps your account until you delete it or it's inactive for 12 months.
  • Turn off notifications: in Settings in the app, or in your phone's settings.
  • Object or complain: email us first. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or the authority where you live.

Everything else

Age. The app is for people aged 16 and over. If you're younger, please don't use it.

Security. Your data travels encrypted between the app and our server. We store only a scrambled copy of your sign-in key, so a copy of our database can't be used to sign in as you.

Changes. If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and tell you in the app before the change applies.
